All about Hiro's Cave dive site

Hiro’s Cave suggests a cave or swim-through style reef dive, with the main appeal coming from overhead shapes, shadowed ledges, and reef openings. It should be approached as a scenic topography dive rather than a deep technical cave unless a local operator confirms otherwise.

What to see

Expect reef fish around the cave entrance, soft coral growth on shaded walls, and small subjects such as nudibranchs, shrimps, and crabs. Turtles, coral trout, and sweetlips may pass along the reef edge.

When To Go Diving

For Queensland reef sites, June to November usually gives the clearest water and most comfortable surface conditions. Water temperatures are generally around 24–29°C, depending on season and latitude.
