All about El Arco dive site
El Arco is one of Caño Island’s scenic rock-formation dives, named for arch-like underwater structure. It brings a more architectural feel to the reserve, with fish moving around stone shapes and open passages.
What to see
Large schools of fish, jacks, snappers, grunts, moray eels, rays, turtles, and whitetip reef sharks may be seen. The arch formation is the defining visual feature.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually the most reliable season, although Caño Island can be dived year-round when conditions allow. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with visibility affected by rain, swell, and plankton.
