Crystal Palace is a dive site with very interesting topography that is located close to Perth in Australia. Soon after descending into the water, divers will find themselves surrounded by numerous limestone caves, swim-throughs, and crevices. The site is 800m/2625ft long and has so much to offer that one dive will not be enough to explore it all.
When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Crystal Palace year-round. December to March has the best conditions for diving, with an average water temperature of 23C/73F. The air temperature ranges from 18C/64F during the winter to 27C/81F throughout the summer.
What to see
The marine life at Crystal Palace is as diverse as its surroundings. In the subterranean caves, divers often encounter boxfish, harlequin fish, Samson fish, western blue devilfish, buffalo bream, and big blue grouper
