All about Bodu Giri dive site
Bodu Giri, or “big mountain,” suggests a larger coral pinnacle or reef mound. It has more space to explore than a small thila, with reef life spread across slopes, ledges and sandy edges.
What to see
Reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays, fusiliers, snappers, soft corals, hard corals, moray eels and schooling reef fish may be seen.
When To Go Diving
December to May usually offers the clearest water. Water remains warm year-round, generally around 27–30°C.
