All about Bajo Manuelita dive site
Bajo Manuelita is a Cocos Island submerged reef or seamount-style site in the Manuelita area. It has the classic Cocos character of rocky terrain, open-water edges, cleaning stations, and big-animal possibility.
What to see
Hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, marble rays, jacks, tuna, turtles, and large schools of fish may be seen. The site is best suited to experienced divers.
When To Go Diving
Cocos diving is year-round, with June to November often stronger for pelagic encounters and December to May generally clearer. Water can shift from warm surface layers to cool thermoclines at depth.
