All about Rocket dive site
Rocket is best described as a Costa Rican Pacific pinnacle or rock site, likely named for a distinctive vertical formation. It has the energetic feel of a site where fish gather around structure rising from sand or deeper reef.
What to see
Look for jacks, snappers, grunts, barracuda, rays, moray eels, pufferfish, and schooling fish. The raised structure may also attract passing predators when current is present.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually best for coastal visibility and calmer seas. Water is typically around 26–29°C, but thermoclines may bring cooler layers at depth.
