Bajo Alcyone is one of Cocos Island’s legendary seamount dives, famous for schooling hammerheads and powerful open-ocean atmosphere. Divers usually descend to the seamount, hold position, and watch the blue for movement.

What to see
Schooling hammerheads are the headline, with Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks in season, eagle rays, marble rays, tuna, jacks, and large schools of fish also possible.
When To Go Diving
Water temperature
June to November is often favoured for pelagic activity, while December to May may offer calmer crossings and clearer water. Water can range from around 20–29°C, with thermoclines common.
