Wreck

The Wreck Graveyard is situated off the west coast of the island of Korcula. The dive site features a large number of wrecks, all with different history, accumulated in a relatively small area - a great place for wreck diving enthusiasts. The wrecks have been left to decay and disintegrate naturally and there are around 10 to 15 of them lying at different depths with the maximum depth of 30m. As it often happens with most wreck sites, there is an abundance of marine life in and around the wrecks and their partially disintegrated hulls are beautifully covered in colorful corals.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round, however, diving during the winter requires a 5-7mm wet suit. The average water temperature ranges between 14C/57F in winter and 25C/77F in summer.

What to see

Numerous wrecks of different types of boats concentrated in a small area and an abundance of marine life, including colorful sponges, interesting nudibranchs, sea cucumbers, octopus, moray eels, crayfish, damselfish, groupers, bream and other fish species.
