Sandra’s at Norman Reef is best described as a Cairns outer-reef dive with coral gardens, reef slopes, and busy tropical fish life. It offers the classic Norman Reef mix of accessible depth, colour, and easy navigation.
What to see
Hard corals, soft corals, parrotfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, fusiliers, turtles, rays, reef sharks, and anemonefish may be seen. Macro subjects can be found around coral rubble.
When To Go Diving
June to November is usually the preferred visibility window, with water around 24–27°C. Summer brings warmer water near 29°C and more humid, changeable weather.
