This reef is situated in front of a hotel. Diving in this area is available for divers of all experience levels. For experienced divers there is also a possibility to do an independent dive (without guide), provided that they comply with specified regulations. There is a light current (1 knot). The average depth of the site is 25m/82ft with the maximum depth of 35m/115ft.
When To Go Diving
The air temperature is around 36C/97F in the summer and 21C/70F in the winter. The average water temperature is about 27C/80F in July and 20C/68F in January. The water visibility ranges between 10m/33ft and 30m/98ft. Diving is possible all year round.
What to see
Besides a broad variety of fire corals, scorpion fish, turtles, morays and several species of rays are among the highlights of this dive site. A special treat is the night dive. Divers can observe an excellent diversity of hard and soft corals teeming with small anthias fish, Napoleon, beautiful butterfly fish, parrotfish, triggerfish, unicorn fish and many more.
