When To Go Diving
The best time to dive at Punta Martir is between July and November, which is considered the peak season. During this period, the water temperature ranges from 26 to 30°C (79 to 86°F), and the visibility is excellent, up to 100 feet (30 meters) or more. This makes for optimal diving conditions and allows for the best opportunities to spot the diverse marine life at the site, including the oceanic manta ray. It's important to note that while the peak season offers ideal diving conditions, the area is known for strong currents, making it more suitable for experienced divers.
