All about Dorado dive site
Dorado suggests a fish-active reef or open-water site, possibly named for golden tones or dorado/mahi-mahi in the wider area. It has a more blue-water feel if located on the Pacific or Baja side.
What to see
Jacks, snappers, rays, turtles, reef fish, moray eels, schooling fish, and occasional pelagic visitors may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best in the local main season, often August to November in the Sea of Cortez or November to April on Caribbean reefs.
