The Katedrala is located along the coast of the bay of Siroka. This site features several connected with each other underwater caves with numerous crevices and cavities. While swimming from one cave to another divers can enjoy the beautiful light rays that fall through the porous ceiling of the caves.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round, however, from May to September conditions are the best. The average water temperature year round varies from 12-24C/53-75F.

What to see

Divers of all levels will enjoy this dive, and for advanced divers a tunnel (16m-50m/52-164ft) and a wreck of the WWI Austro-Hungarian battleship SMS Szent István (40–-60m/131–-199ft depth) will be interesting. On the plateau divers can find octopi, crabs, and rainbow wrasses, and the sandy seabed is inhabited with mullets, white two-banded, sheepshead breams and other species. All the caves have many corals, sponges, and polychaetes.
