Francesca di Rimini is one of Croatia’s notable wreck dives, a WWII-era wreck in the Adriatic with a strong historical atmosphere. It is generally a deeper, more serious dive, suited to experienced wreck divers.
What to see
Divers may see the wreck structure, deck remains, cargo or machinery features, sponges, conger eels, scorpionfish, octopus, nudibranchs, and schooling fish.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are usually June to October. The wreck is deep, so water can be cold even in summer, and advanced or technical training may be required depending on the profile.
