Vodnjak is a small island, located on the west end of the Pakleni Islands. There are some interesting diving spots overgrown with bushes of gorgonians, teeming with marine species, but the best one is an underwater crag called Kampanel, that means "bell tower". The tower rises up from a depth of 40m/131ft to 10m/32ft below the surface, and is covered in bright red gorgonians from a depth of 15-40m/49-131ft. Another interesting part of the site is the 5m/16ft- long tunnel at a depth of 35m/114ft. It is definately a very beautiful site.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round. The sea temperature is about 14C/57F in winter and 24C/75 in summer.

What to see

In these turquoise waters divers can see an abundance of marine life and vegetation, that includes red gorgonians, moray and conger eels, lobsters, occasional octopi, spotted dogfish, and scorpionfish.
