All about Pontinha dive site
Pontinha is a drop-off-style Sal site, known for rock structure and ledges that create shelter for marine life. It has a slightly more dramatic profile than a flat reef, with the chance to follow the edge while checking cracks and overhangs.

What to see
Lobsters are associated with this type of drop-off terrain, along with moray eels, scorpionfish, wrasse, parrotfish, trumpetfish, nudibranchs, and sponges. Barracuda or jacks may cruise along the wall.
When To Go Diving
April to November usually brings the best balance of water temperature and visibility. Expect around 22–27°C water and visibility commonly from 15–30 metres.
