All about Jardim dive site
Jardim, meaning “garden,” suggests a gentler reef site with colourful marine life over rocky and coral-covered ground. It is best described as a scenic local dive where the details matter: sponges, small fish, and animals tucked into the reef.
What to see
Look for sponges, small corals, wrasse, parrotfish, trumpetfish, damselfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, shrimps, and crabs. Rays or turtles may be seen occasionally.
When To Go Diving
April to November generally provides the best water temperature and visibility. Expect around 22–27°C water, with visibility commonly around 15–30 metres.
