All about Tchal Ket dive site

Tchal Ket is best described as a local volcanic reef site with a Cape Verdean character, shaped by rocky terrain rather than tropical coral gardens. It suits divers who enjoy Atlantic reef life, crevices, small caves, and fish moving through lava formations.

What to see

Expect moray eels, scorpionfish, trumpetfish, parrotfish, wrasse, pufferfish, nudibranchs, and crustaceans. Turtles, rays, or barracuda may appear in the surrounding blue.

When To Go Diving

The most comfortable months are generally April to November. Water temperatures usually sit around 22–27°C in this period, with visibility often 15–30 metres depending on wind and swell.
