Scuba diving in Monkey Rock


Located on the northern side of Praslin, this dive-site received its name from a huge monkey-shaped rock. Diving here is available for divers of all levels.
When to go
The best conditions for diving this site are April - May and October - November. The average annual air temperature in this area is around 25C/77F. The average water temperature ranges from 26C/78F to 30C/86F. The average depth of the site is 8m/26ft with average water visibility of around10-30m/32-98ft.
What to see
Colorful reef fish, lionfish, sting rays and eagle rays are just a small part of the diverse marine life occupying this site.
