Roche Lare offers good diving for divers of all levels of experience. The depth of the site is about 16m/52ft. The water is warm and clear with light current.
When To Go Diving
The average air temperature ranges between 24-29C/75-84F. The water temperature is around 28C/82F from January to March and 26C/78F from July to September. Scuba diving is available year-round.
What to see
The site features a granite rock field teeming with marine life. Reef fish, bat fish, giant moray eels, hump-head parrotfish, napoleon wrasses, turtles, anemones, Seychelles clownfish, schooling big-eye snappers, octopus, reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, lionfish, scorpion fish, schooling fusiliers and lobsters can be seen here.
