When to go to Port of Bali

The diving season in the Port of Bali spans during the whole year. However, the best period is still considered to be from April to November, as from December to March is a rainy season. Usual air temperature is 26-28C/78-82F and water temperature ranges between 20-26C/68-78F. Currents and depths depend on the places. In some areas currents may reach 1-2 knots.  Visibility is 10-45m/16-147ft.

The diversity of marine species is absolutely incredible. Both dives in singles dive sites and liveaboard safari diving let divers to spot such creatures as shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs, cardinalfish, sail tangs, triggerfish, trevallies, parrotfish, snappers, lionfish, scorpionfish, lobsters, napoleon wrasse, sweetlips, trumpetfish, stonefish, octopi, cuttlefish, frogfish, moray eels, snake eels. pufferfish, sting rays and white-tip sharks.
