Guraidhoo Kandu is one of South Malé Atoll’s well-known channel dives, with current, depth and strong fish activity. It is a classic Maldives drift dive for confident divers.
What to see
Grey reef sharks, eagle rays, jacks, tuna, barracuda, turtles, snappers, fusiliers and soft corals may be seen.
When To Go Diving
December to May usually brings the clearest channel conditions. Incoming current is often preferred, and water is generally 27–30°C.
