Cogon Point is a must-see dive site in Dumaguete in the Philippines. Divers may find this 150m/492ft-long reef between Mamsa Point and Coconut Point near Apo Island. The dive usually begins on the flat sand slope, then the current takes divers to 30m/98ft, where at the second sand slope, it is better to float to 18m/59ft to avoid the downward current. The best way to have a positive and safe experience during an underwater adventure at this site is to stay close to the reef or sand slope. Mamsa Point is suitable for the final safety stop before floating.
