All about Angel Fish Reef dive site
Angel Fish Reef is best described as a shallow to moderate Bahamas reef site where colourful fish life takes centre stage. Its name suggests the kind of relaxed dive where French, queen, or grey angelfish may be part of the scene, framed by coral heads and soft sea fans.
What to see
Angelfish, sergeant majors, blue tangs, grunts, snappers, parrotfish, sea fans, sponges, and hard corals may be seen. Nurse sharks, stingrays, or turtles are also possible on nearby reef slopes.
When To Go Diving
The dry season from November to May is usually best, while summer brings warmer water and fewer visitors but more weather risk. Expect around 24–29°C water and visibility often around 20–40 metres in settled conditions.
