All about Alam Batu dive site

Alam Batu, in northeast Bali, is known for calm shore diving, black sand, reef patches, and excellent macro subjects. It offers a quieter east Bali alternative to Tulamben’s busier wreck scene.

What to see

Nudibranchs, pygmy seahorses, frogfish, shrimps, crabs, reef fish, garden eels, moray eels, and coral patches may be seen.

When To Go Diving

April to November is usually best, though the area can be dived year-round. Water is generally around 26–29°C.
