Old DC3 40-passenger Convair airliner was sunk intentionally in 1977 as a prop for Mexican disaster movie. Due to the hurricane Roxanne passed by in October 1995 she is now well broken up and scattered over the sea bed.

When To Go Diving

Diving can be done any time of the year. The average water temperature ranges from 25C/77F to 28C/82F.

What to see

Large assortment of grunts and snapper can be found near the remains of the aircraft. Among the sea fans and plumes hermit crabs, numerous shrimps and several species of blenny can be seen, as well as numerous coral heads which have lots of Christmas tree worms and the split-crown featherduster on them.
