Wild Side West suggests a more exposed reef face, where the dive may feel a little more oceanic than sheltered moorings. It likely suits divers looking for stronger scenery, reef edges, and the chance of passing pelagics.
What to see
Trevally, fusiliers, reef sharks, turtles, soft corals, gorgonians, coral trout, and barracuda may be seen. The western edge may also reveal ledges with macro life.
When To Go Diving
Best during calm weather and manageable current, especially from June to November. Water temperatures generally range from about 24°C in winter to 29°C in summer.
