The Tulapus dive site is one of the oldest local sanctuaries and is located near the island of Siquijor in the Philippines. It is ideal for beginners and relaxing dives. Divers can choose a comfortable depth and an interesting underwater spot on the gentle slopes from shallow areas to deeper ones. Divers can enjoy snorkeling, underwater photography, and free diving.

When to go

The best time to dive is during the dry season from January to May, although it is also possible to dive during the wet season. Water temperatures average 26-30C/79-86F.

What to see

There is plenty to see while diving at Tulapus Sanctuary, such as colorful corals, schools of barracudas, turtles, and snapper. Sometimes divers encounter blacktip reef sharks.
