All about West Punta dive site
West Punta is best treated as a coastal reef or point dive with coral slopes, sand patches, and warm Philippine water. It has a relaxed island profile, suitable for slow reef exploration and fish-life observation.
What to see
Reef fish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, wrasse, soft corals, hard corals, moray eels, nudibranchs, shrimps, and occasional turtles or rays may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are usually during the drier season from November to May. Water is generally around 26–30°C, with visibility often 10–25 metres depending on local exposure.
