All about Three Islets dive site

Three Islets is one of Mergui’s most dramatic sites, formed by limestone rocks with canyons, swim-throughs, and a cave-like structure beneath the surface. It has a moody, adventurous feel, especially when fish move through the passages and soft corals colour the walls.

What to see

Divers may see snappers, fusiliers, reef fish, soft corals, harlequin shrimp, ghost pipefish, seahorses, nudibranchs, frogfish, stonefish, moray eels, and crustaceans. Sharks may be seen around the cave area, but sightings depend on conditions.

When To Go Diving

December to April is generally best for calmer weather and stronger visibility. Water is usually around 26–30°C, while visibility may range from 10–30 metres depending on current and plankton.
