All about The De La Salle Wreck dive site

Wreck
The De La Salle Wreck is one of Nassau’s named wreck dives, often mentioned alongside Lighthouse Wreck & Reef and The Shipyard. It has the feel of a classic Bahamas wreck dive, where tropical reef life gathers around artificial structure in clear Atlantic water.

What to see

Wreck structure, sponges, reef fish, lobsters, eagle rays, and passing sharks may be seen. The site is also suitable for wide-angle wreck photography when visibility is clear.

When To Go Diving

It can be dived year-round, with November to May usually offering the best all-round sea conditions. Water temperatures are generally around 24–29°C, and visibility may be especially good during the drier months.
