The Arch is interesting for experienced divers due to its topography of arches and caves full of abundant marine life. This site is also good for snorkelers, with spots of shallow water 10m/33ft deep.The visibility is usually around 20m/66ft here, while the current can reach 2 knots.

When To Go Diving

The Arch is located in Raja Ampat in Indonesia with tropical water temperatures of 27C/81F and high air temperatures averaging 28-30C/82-86F. The best time to visit this dive site is from October to April.

What to see

Interesting species here include octopi, cuttlefish, lionfish, flatworms, and bright parrotfish passing gorgonians and sponges of different colors.
