Thai Sea Liveaboard, Thailand, Myanmar (Burma)

Thai Sea's small capacity allows diving in small groups. She features a dedicated photo area with charging points and a separate rinsing tank for cameras. Nitrox for certified divers already included in the price. This liveaboard offers diving trips to the wonderful Mergui Archipelago in Burma with high chances to meet giant mantas and whale sharks and also short trips to Thailand that can be easily combined to a resort vacation.

Boat interior and exterior
Liveaboard has 6 cabins on board. 5 of them have bunk beds. One master stateroom has a double bed and fits for couples. Cabins equipped with wall fans. Bathrooms are shared.
Dining area and relax area organized on the upper deck of the boat. You can enjoy an amazing view and delicious meals at the same time. Soak up the sun in between dives.

Diving
Thai Sea equipped with two compressors and a nitrox filling station. Nitrox provided for free for certified divers. There is a dive platform with 2 freshwater showers and a separate rinsing tank for electronic equipment. 2 diver friendly ladders make dives more convenient.

Safety and navigation
Thai Sea crew cares about your safety so boat supplied with first aid kit, life jackets and emergency rafts, bilge pump alarm, searchlight, and continuous-flow oxygen. There is also a Nautilus marine radio with an emergency calling system with integrated GPS.

Diving features
Boat’s itineraries focused on diving in Burma and Thailand. You can choose from a range of trips to the Mergui Archipelago with a different duration. Burma is still not a very crowded diving destination. There are high chances to see unspoiled coral reefs and pinnacles. Gorgonian sea fans gardens, brown anemones, orange cup corals, and feather stars and many other types of coral can be found here. But not only corals represent the underwater world of this region. Divers come here to dive with giant manta rays, whitetips, and black tips and also to see tunas, rainbow runners, batfishes and different kinds of barracudas patrol the outer reef. Whale Sharks pass by on rare occasions.
Thailand trips are great for those who stay in a hotel but want to add some more variety to their vacation with boat diving. Trips duration in only 3 nights and it can be easily combined to a resort staying. All the most popular diving destinations of Thailand will be added to a trip schedule including Surin, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon, Similans and Richelieu Rock. This trip feature a chance to meet sharks, rays and turtles, napoleon wrasse and bump head parrotfish and many more.

When to Go
The main diving season for Burma starts in October and ends in May. Same for Thailand. the sea is warm all over the year 28-30C (82-86F). More chances to see manta rays from February to May when plankton blooms
