Arctic voyage
A trip to arctic whales aboard a ship was my dream. It eventually came true. Thanks to Divebooker and the crew of Sula everything went so smoothly, I did not have any single issue. A close approach to majestic orcas and whale watching is something that stays long in your memory. Now I'll be looking forward to repeat such a memorable nordic voyage some time in the future.

Snorkeling /freediving with orcas and humpbacks
Opportunity to listen to the sound of music of Orcas and Humpbacks by the Hydrophone
A great opportunity to see the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis as well
There is an opportunity to do scuba diving for well certified dry-suit divers (in the harbor). The animals are afraid of the bubbles and will then disappear, so tanks are not using

Day 1:

Meet & greet at the airport. Group transfer to the port. Onboarding, meeting the crew & briefing.

Days 2,3:

Departing & check dive. Safari according to the planned route. Every year from the end of October to the beginning of February, the probably largest gathering of killing whales in the world take place in Troms region, far north of Norway, due to enormous amounts of herring. Sometimes as many as 50-60 orcas and humpback whales can be observed at the same time. We follow the orcas closely to watch them play and feed. When possible, we enter the water and swim with them. To be with these magnificent animals in their own habitat is an experience for life.

Wake up at 07:30.

Breakfast at 08:00-08:30.

The boat leaves the harbor about 09:00.

We go out to the fjord for seeking orcas.

Sometimes we see the animals immediately and can start the operation soon.

Other days we need hours to find the orcas. When we find the orcas we move to the less boat (dinghy equipped with dry-suit and keep the camera ready for photo action).

Normally we are in the dinghy two to three hours and then back to the main ship for eating hot soup, coffee break and lunch.

When the darkness is coming we go to the closest bay or harbor to stay the night over.

Dinner on board at 18:00 hrs.

Day 4:

Check-out from the yacht, group transfer to the airport.

Routes can be affected by adverse weather conditions and unforeseen events, force majeure or other similar reasons
