Sleeping Turtle suggests a sheltered reef or sandy ledge where turtles may rest. It has a gentle, observational character, particularly suited to slow photography.
What to see
Green turtles and hawksbill turtles may be seen, along with reef fish, coral heads, rays, moray eels, butterflyfish, and small crustaceans.
When To Go Diving
Best in calm conditions, often March to October around Derawan and Sangalaki. Water is generally around 27–30°C.
