Shaviyani Atoll offers northern Maldives diving with reefs, channels and quieter atoll scenery. It feels less travelled than the classic central routes, with a strong sense of space and open water.
What to see
Reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, reef fish, snappers, fusiliers, soft corals, hard corals and occasional manta rays in the wider atoll may be seen.
When To Go Diving
December to May is usually best for clarity and sea conditions. Water is warm throughout the year, generally around 27–30°C.
