Non-divers are welcome aboard, although the cruises primarily focus on scuba diving. Snorkelling opportunities depend on the itinerary, weather, currents, and sea conditions.
Itineraries
Saudi Arabia's Red Sea offers diving among offshore coral reefs, steep walls, and submerged pinnacles, with opportunities to encounter grey reef sharks, silky sharks, hammerheads, barracuda, and turtles.
The Saudi Master liveaboard operates routes to the Farasan Banks, Seven Sisters, Five Corals, and Umlajj. Farasan Banks itineraries explore remote atolls and reefs south of Jeddah, where coral-covered walls attract pelagic fish and sharks. Northern routes combine the dramatic drop-offs and gorgonian-covered walls of Seven Sisters with the coral formations of Five Corals and the reefs around Umlajj. Wreck diving is also possible on selected northern itineraries.
The diving schedule generally includes up to three dives per diving day, depending on the itinerary and conditions.
When to Go
The vessel's published schedule includes Farasan Banks departures from January through April, while northern itineraries to Seven Sisters, Five Corals, and Umlajj operate during other parts of the year, including May, June, and autumn. Exact dates and routes vary by departure.
Boat for Photographers
Underwater photographers have access to three dedicated camera tables for preparing and organizing equipment. A compressed air hose is available for drying camera housings and accessories, while the onboard charging station provides additional convenience.
The variety of Saudi Red Sea dive sites offers opportunities for wide-angle photography of coral walls, schooling fish, and sharks, alongside smaller reef inhabitants such as anemonefish, moray eels, and octopuses
