All about Salao Azul dive site

Salao Azul, meaning “Blue Room,” suggests a cavern or enclosed volcanic space where light and blue water create the main visual effect. It is best described as an atmospheric topography dive rather than a wildlife-only site.

What to see

Divers may see blue-lit cave or cavern space, soldierfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, lobsters, crabs, sponges, and reef fish. The play of light is likely the signature feature.

When To Go Diving

Best conditions are generally from April to November, especially during calm seas and good visibility. Water is often around 22–27°C, with visibility commonly 15–30 metres.
