The Roncadores del Faro dive site boasts both a spectacular underwater landscape and an abundance of marine life. Here divers can explore the wall that goes almost vertically down to 25m/82ft with large swim-throughs, plateaus, and a small crater. The wall offers interesting discoveries of its hiding marine inhabitants and there will also be opportunities to spot passing barracudas and tuna.
When To Go Diving
This dive site offers year-round diving. The average water temperature in winter is 19C/66F, and in summer the average water temperature rises to 24C/75F.
What to see
When diving at Roncadores, divers may feel like they are swimming in a bowl of fish soup! They can see morays and octopi, lizardfish, damselfish, cuttlefish, sea bream, wrasses, sardines, barracudas, and tuna.
