Black Coral is also known as Coral Negro. This spot is situated only 5 minutes away from the harbor of Las Galletas. The visibility under the water is 20-30m/60-100ft. This dive is up to 45m/150ft deep and has a few lava formed arches. Sun-fish, big black rays, angel sharks, groupers and large shoals of barracudas can be found there.

When to go

The water temperature is 23C/73F in the summer and 18C/64F in the winter. August is the hottest month with the average air temperature reaching 27C/80F and the coldest is February with the temperatures dropping to around 19C/66F. The best time to go is from April to October.
