All about Regona dive site

Regona is a Sal Island cave-style site, often associated with volcanic formations and dramatic underwater light. It has a more adventurous mood than a simple reef, with rock openings, shadows, and fish life gathered around the structure.

What to see

Divers may see cave formations, sponges, moray eels, scorpionfish, soldierfish, crustaceans, reef fish, and nudibranchs. Turtles or rays may pass outside the cave area.

When To Go Diving

April to November is generally the strongest period, while calm seas are important for safe and comfortable access. Water temperatures usually range from about 22–27°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
