All about Three Caves dive site
Three Caves is one of Sal’s most atmospheric sites, with a wall around 18 metres and three accessible cave openings. It combines easy cave-like exploration with lively reef scenery, making it one of the island’s more memorable volcanic dives.

What to see
Divers may see turtles, angelfish, scorpionfish, nurse sharks, lobsters, crabs, soldierfish, and other cave-dwelling species. The play of light around the openings is part of the site’s appeal.
When To Go Diving
April to November is generally the best period, while calm seas are important for comfortable cave entries. Water temperatures usually range from about 22–27°C, with visibility often 15–30 metres.
