All about Qula’an Islands dive site
Qula’an Islands sit in Egypt’s far southern Red Sea, where mangrove-fringed islands, shallow lagoons, and reefs create a wilder, quieter diving landscape. The area feels remote and natural, with seagrass, coral patches, and sandy channels adding variety.

What to see
Divers may see coral gardens, seagrass life, turtles, rays, reef fish, goatfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and juvenile fish. Dugongs are possible in the wider southern Red Sea seagrass habitats, but sightings should never be promised.
When To Go Diving
Best conditions are usually from March to May and September to November, with summer warmer but hotter on land. Water is commonly 23–30°C, and visibility can be excellent away from plankton or wind.
