All about Pink Canyon dive site
Pink Canyon is another Macleod Island-area site shaped by Myanmar’s limestone underwater scenery. Its appeal is in the canyon-like formations, coloured soft coral growth, and the sense of exploring a quieter corner of the Mergui Archipelago.
What to see
Expect soft corals, reef fish, fusiliers, nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, moray eels, and small cave or crevice dwellers. Rays, trevallies, and barracuda may pass through the more open sections.
When To Go Diving
The best months are generally December to April, with warmer, plankton-rich months from February to May sometimes bringing reduced visibility but more pelagic potential. Water temperatures usually sit around 26–30°C.
