Passe St Jacques is a drift dive. The average depth of immersion is from 5m/16ft to maximum 30m/98ft. The dive site may have strong currents so it's marked for the use of advance divers only.
When To Go Diving
The average air temperature ranges between 25-30C/77-86F. The average water temperature stays around 20-30C/68-86F depending on the season. The best time for diving is November through May.
What to see
The site is populated with a variety of underwater fauna, including eagle rays, stingrays, barracudas, sharks, schools of trevallies and tunas, enormous size crayfish and lobsters as well as various hard and soft corals. Divers can spot red, yellow and blue gorgonian fans, red algae, encrusting algae and coralligenous.
