All about Paradise Canyon dive site
Paradise Canyon, near Ambergris Caye, is known for dramatic coral canyons and swim-through-like reef cuts. It has a sculpted feel, with corridors of coral creating a more adventurous profile than a simple reef slope.
What to see
Coral canyons, sponges, sea fans, reef fish, snappers, grunts, parrotfish, angelfish, and possible nurse sharks or rays may be seen. The canyon structure is the main visual feature.
When To Go Diving
December to May usually brings the best sea conditions, while June to November offers warmer water. Expect around 26–29°C water, with visibility often strong on settled days along the barrier reef.
