Natural Reef is a dive site located off Donggala in Indonesia that features diverse healthy corals, coral blocks full of creatures, and a sandy bottom. Sandy cays attract many species of various sizes, while small overhangs create interesting topography.

When to go

Natural Reef has year-round diving, with the best conditions from March to December. It gets rainy in January and February. The air temperature averages 28C/82F, while the water usually is around 27-30C/81-86F.

What to see

The corals of Natural Reef are full of lionfish, stonefish, leaf fish, octopi, sweetlips, and nudibranchs. Napoleon wrasses, stingrays, nurse sharks, and barracudas are some of the species that can be spotted here.
