Nusa Penida is one of Bali’s most famous dive regions, known for drift reefs, manta cleaning areas, and seasonal mola mola encounters. It has a more adventurous feel than Bali’s sheltered bays.
What to see
Manta rays, turtles, reef fish, jacks, rays, coral slopes, and possible mola mola in season may be seen.
When To Go Diving
April to November is usually best, with July to October often linked to mola mola season and cooler upwellings. Water can range from about 20–29°C.
