All about Police Pier dive site
Police Pier is a classic muck or jetty-style site, where pilings, sand, rubble, and human-made structure attract small marine life. It has a gritty but fascinating character, especially for macro photographers.
What to see
Frogfish, pipefish, nudibranchs, seahorses, shrimps, crabs, moray eels, juvenile fish, scorpionfish, and artificial-structure life may be seen.
When To Go Diving
Jetty and muck sites can be dived year-round when local access and visibility allow. Water is generally around 26–29°C, with visibility often 5–20 metres.
