All about Muskmellon Bay dive site

Muskmellon Bay is a quieter BVI dive area, suited to relaxed reef exploration rather than deep wreck penetration or strong-current diving. Its bay setting suggests a gentler profile with coral heads, sand patches, and small reef life.

What to see

Reef fish, sponges, sea fans, coral heads, parrotfish, angelfish, grunts, snappers, lobsters, and small macro subjects may be seen. Rays and turtles may appear over nearby sand or seagrass.

When To Go Diving

December to May is usually the clearest and driest season, while summer can bring warmer and sometimes calmer water. Expect water around 26–29°C and visibility that may reach 18–30 metres in settled weather.
